Working virtually is one of the most popular ways of working, however you may have some questions about how it all works. I have answered the frequently asked questions below, but should you have further questions you are welcome to send me an email so that I can assist you further.
Please note that I work from Monday - Friday, 09h00-17h00 (South Africa time). All your tasks will be completed during this time. Should you want to submit tasks over evenings and weekends, please note that these tasks will be attended to on the next business day.
Prior to us working together, it would be good to have a Skype call to firstly ascertain that we are the right fit for one another. I will also explain how we will communicate and how you can submit tasks to me. I come fully-equipped with every virtual system that is required for us to work together, in the most simple and professional way possible and will be taking you through this on my on-boarding process.
I will always give my 100% best to complete tasks on the same-day they are provided to me (within my business hours). Should I need a longer period to work on a task, I will keep you informed every step of the way.
Once we have ascertained which of my retainer packages will work best for your business, I will keep track of each task I perform for you, using time management software. This will ensure that I keep an accurate account of how many hours I work for you. I will also provide you with a weekly update of how many hours of your retainer package are remaining.
As an experienced Virtual Assistant, I have all systems set up and ready to go. Absolutely every task you may have for me, can be done online. From email management, travel arrangements, setting up of meetings, document control, you name it, can be done virtually. I will explain the entire process to you on our on-boarding discussion.
I will always brief my clients in advance as to when I plan to take any holiday, so that you are well-prepared in advance. Please note however, that all your work will be completed in advance either before I leave for holiday or on my return. Please also note that I do observe all the South African public holidays.
Once we have completed the on-boarding process, I will provide you with an invoice with my relevant banking details thereon. Payment is usually done up-front for my services. I also offer great discounts for utilising my services on a longer-term.
Once we have our initial call and you have made a decision to go ahead with my services, I will be providing you with an agreement that covers us both, as we will be working very closely together and this agreement will outline everything that you need to know.
